Last year we were in lockdown, this year Railway Gardens is a building site... but never fear! We've teamed up with Oasis Cardiff, local organisations, and residents to hold a fabulous festive fair.
This time last year you might remember that we held a fundraiser to help cover the costs of the site toilet block. With the help of Oasis One World Choir and many community members we recorded this festive smash hit and now seems like a good time to revisit it to get you in the mood for a Christmas announcement – can you spot yourself or someone you know?
You are warmly invited to join us on December at 11th for a community Christmas celebration.
Plans are still being made but here’s a sneak peek of what to expect…
- Warming winter food from the catering team at Oasis – if you haven’t had a chance to try their food yet then you’re in for a treat!
- Gifts and treats for sale from local makers.
- Wonderful performers – expect dance and singing, including Oasis One World Choir (performing the toilet song hopefully!) and JustOne.
- Circus workshops from NoFit State.
- Crafts and activities including willow weaving, sustainable decorations, and play.
- Get to know local organisations including Repair Cafe, StarGarAllot, and Splo-Down Food Coop.
- Free bulb planting kits from the Railway Gardens project.
