There's a lot to choose from at Railway Gardens!

Our programme is packed with regular and special events led by Green Squirrel plus loads of community led events, from craft sessions and support groups to open mic nights! Jump straight to the full programme or read on for information on opening times, regular groups, and volunteering. 

Our regular opening hours for anyone to pop in and enjoy the gardens are currently 10am – 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. You are very welcome to pop in and take a walk around, bring your children in to explore and play, or find a seat on a bench and read a book, watch the trains or simply relax. Dogs on leads are welcome. 

Regular free weekly groups and meet ups at Railway Gardens include…
Tuesdays

Alternate Tuesdays, 1:30 – 2:30pm: Baby & Parent support group for parents with babies up to 1 year.

2pm – 4pm: Good Shed Group: Part of the Men’s Shed movement, all welcome. 

Wednesdays

10:30am – 12pm: Natter with Neighbours Coffee Morning

10am – 2pm: Benthyg (the library of things) open for borrowing

3:15pm – 4:15pm: Forces of Nature, our after school nature club

Thursdays

9:30am – 10:30am: Tai chi with Jeanette

Weekly: 10am – 2pm: Benthyg (the library of things) open for borrowing

1pm – 3pm: Wellbeing Cafe (free and open to all)

Saturdays

Weekly: 10am – 2pm: Benthyg (the library of things) open for borrowing

Every two weeks: Y Gwylltion: drop in family nature activities, see programme below for dates and times. 

Monthly: Gardening Club, see programme below for dates and times
