How we make the most of

💚 We make a big impact! In 2024 we supported a total of 6,875 people in south Wales to take action for climate and nature.
💚 We’re growing and strengthening Railway Gardens, the derelict patch of land in Splott, Cardiff that we fought hard to bring back into community use as a beautiful and thriving Community Resilience Hub, Railway Gardens.
💚 We do a lot with a little! We’re a tiny team who pride ourselves on making the most of every penny we receive through grant funding and donations.
💚 We’re a voice for people, place, and planet here in Cardiff. We advocate for our community to be heard in conversations about climate and biodiversity and we aim to influence policy and share good practice.
💚 We live our values. In every aspect of our business practices we’re committed to making planet-minded choices, paying those we work with fairly, and building a more inclusive climate movement.

We aim to offer an inclusive supporter scheme; therefore we offer three tiers of membership, each with the same benefits, and ask you to choose the tier which best fits with what you can afford.

Can I make a one off donation instead?

How do I cancel or change my subscription?
You can manage your Squirrel Supporter subscription at any time. Click here to log in using the email address you signed up with and you’ll be sent a magic link.
Am I expected to come to events?
You choose your own level of involvement; come along to as little or as much as you like!
What can I expect from your Supporter Newsletter?
We’ll be sharing insights into what we’re up to, from our challenges and motivations to the climate and nature content we’ve been enjoying each month. You can also expect news from the Green Cardiff scene, a ‘positive climate news’ roundup, and suggestions for practical, impactful climate actions that will fit into a busy life.
Can organisations sign up to the Squirrel Supporter scheme?
We can offer some organisation-specific perks and pricing scaled to your group or company’s staffing and turnover. Please get in touch with us to discuss becoming an organisational supporter.
Can I buy Squirrel Supporter membership as a gift for someone else?
You certainly can! We sell gift memberships through GiftUp – please click here to choose from a 3 month, 6 month of 12 month gift membership. You’ll have the option to email the recipient or download a gift voucher to print at home.
