Board Secretary vacancy
The Secretary to the Board plays a key administrative role, helping to ensure our meetings, actions, and records are well managed and that communication between Directors is smooth and effective.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience of how a board operates and learning more about governance, compliance, and decision making within a community organisation, without assuming the legal responsibilities of a non-executive director.
Our commitment to inclusive recruitment
As an organisation, we are committed to values of inclusion and equality but have previously struggled to build a diverse board. This is important to us, as there is an urgent need to broaden the climate movement and make sure the voices of all communities are heard; a diverse board is a central part of enabling us to reach and best support the communities with whom we aspire to work.
Therefore we welcome and encourage applications from all socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, races, sexualities, disabilities and faiths. We welcome applications from anyone who feels their community’s voice is not being heard enough in the climate and nature movement. We encourage you to contact us to discuss any adjustments we can make to ensure our application processes are accessible to you.
