Community Swap Shop! Here’s how to get involved on March 22nd

We're holding another community Swap Shop - these friendly events are a chance to declutter your home while finding the bits and bobs you need - for free!

What is it? A Swap Shop where you can bring things you don’t need any more and find useful stuff.

When: Saturday March 22nd, 11am – 1pm (drop offs from 10:30am – see below)

Where: Railway Gardens, end of Adeline Street, Splott

Is it free to come in? Definitely!

Do you need volunteers? Yes please! See below

How does the bring and take work?

Bring along the items you’d like to offer to others and take home what you need (whether or not you brought anything). Please bring along clean, useable items in good condition – the following are all welcome:

  • gardening equipment & plants

  • kitchen and home items

  • craft supplies

  • books

  • toys and games

  • clothes, shoes and accessories (or save them for our dedicated Clothes Swap on May 3rd if you’d prefer)

We ask that you don’t bring broken items, dangerous items (no kitchen knives please) or anything in a condition that you wouldn’t be happy to receive yourself

Donations accepted between 10am and 3pm on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th March, between 10:30am – 12pm on Friday 21st and from 9:30am – 10:45am only on the day.

Seal and Bear Cafe will be open for hot and cold drinks and food.

This is an event by and for the community so no traders please.

If you’ve got any questions at the event, or would like to volunteer, please drop us a message using the form below.
