Railway Gardens

Local people are creating a space to learn, connect, grow, and play in the heart of Splott.

Railway Gardens is a place for everyone to come together, make new friends, share skills, and develop ideas.

Once the site opens there will be space to grow veg, run your business, borrow tools, join a class or group, build a den… and loads more!  Try something new from a packed programme of activities, lead your own project, or simply pop in to relax – everyone is welcome.

What to expect on site...
Building Railway Gardens

This is an exciting journey… but creating the space will take a little time.

There will be opportunities to come and see what’s happening on site as it develops. There will also be community get-togethers online and at other local venues to plan for the next steps – and we’d love for you to get involved!

Sign up to receive the newsletter below, or get in touch on railwaygardens@greensquirrel.co.uk if you’d like to volunteer with the project or share feedback or ideas.

Where is Railway Gardens?

Please note! The site won’t be open to the public on a regular basis until early summer 2022.

Railway Gardens is supported by
The WCVA Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme logo

And by the generous donations of community members and local businesses including Davids Homes and Ripple Living.

Uh oh, something isn't right. Please check and try again.
Thanks! Look out for squirrels in your inbox soon.
