Safeguarding at Green Squirrel
In everything we do, the welfare of the children, young people, and vulnerable adults we work with is paramount. We believe that safeguarding is everybody’s business; we have a strong safeguarding culture and review our safeguarding processes regularly to ensure they are fit for purpose. We invite you to read our safeguarding policy here.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Hannah Garcia. If you would like more information on what to do if you have concerns about a child or vulnerable adult, you can find our reporting procedure here.
Please know that if you are reporting a concern we will give you as much time as you need, listen to everything you have to say, take it seriously, and take appropriate action. Please don’t assume someone else will pass on the concerns, or that you need to wait until you’re sure there’s a problem. You don’t need proof that a child or vulnerable adult is at risk in order to come to us; it’s enough to have a concern or feel worried.
If you have any questions please get in touch with Hannah at hannah@greensquirrel.co.uk
