🎁 2025 Wrapped – and a big thank you from us

Where has the year gone?! Surely another twelve months haven’t just flown by.

As 2025 draws to a close we are pleased to share our impact report for you – how our year has shaped up in numbers, what has gone well, and what direction we’re heading in next.

And now it’s time to say some thank yous.

  • Thank you to our board of Directors, Chris, Kate, Liz, Lucie and Mark. Also thank you to long serving director Luke who stepped down this year.
  • Thank you to our team, Julia, Sophia, Sheila, Fiona and Paula. You’ve been brilliant.
  • Thank you to our volunteers – 75 wonderful people who have contributed so much this year. If you’ve been to Railway Gardens and found it beautiful and comfortable, or you’ve been to one of our events and had a good time its the volunteer team’s hard work we have to thank. An additional thank you to Richard, Martin and the goodShed team, what would we do without you!
  • Thank you to the Building Communities Trust for so much support and for bringing us together with the other members of the Community Anchor Development Programme.
  • Thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund, The Moondance Foundation, and Hubbub for supporting us.
  • Thank you to the Splott and Adamsdown community for being there for us and bringing that special STAR energy! A specially huge thank you to Splott Community Volunteers, Nofit State, SploDown, Eco Market Collective,  Trinity, Rubicon, Fiery Jacks, Boomerang, Oasis, One World Choir and Thoby. Thanks also to the local Coop and Tesco for donations.
  • Thank you to everyone who supported us after the break in.  It meant a lot to us.
  • Thank you to Climate Cymru for being awesome and creating opportunities for organisations like ours to have a voice.
  • And finally, thank you to our Green Squirrel families, especially Dan, Mal, Leo and Aderyn who often step in, lend a hand, and support us in all we do.

And if you’re reading this blog and following our journey… thank you! See you in 2026.
