Green Squirrel Programmes
If you’re looking for something more than a one off workshop then we would be pleased to design a bespoke programme for you.
Whether you need a weekly series of lunchtime or evening sessions, a weekend of activities, or even a full week of content, get in touch to talk about your goals, and we’ll create a proposal that fits your budget, audience and timescale. Recent programmes we have run include…
Art for Change
developed for the Prince's Trust
This six day experience for young people aged 16 – 24 was designed to support them in exploring their own journey to becoming creative changemakers.
We curated and facilitated a varied programme of practical skills (such as film making and active listening), inspirational speakers (including youth activists and campaigners), and group activities.
Climate Action Boost
developed for the Innovate Trust
We developed this ten part weekly programme to be delivered via Innovate’s ‘Insight’ app, with the aim of providing support and guidance to adults with a learning disability to take action on food waste, plastic, biodiversity, and a range of other topics chosen in consultation with participants.
Those taking part also received a starter kit of ingredients, resources – and a couple of treats – to help them put their new skills into practice.
Greener Nursery
developed for Meithrinfa Y Pelican
This five part staff training programme was delivered weekly, sharing practical ideas for sustainable crafting and play and supporting the team to use the nursery’s outdoor space for food growing and wildlife.
Throughout the programme we explored age-appropriate ways to introduce environmental topics and develop empathy for and a connection with the natural world in an urban early years setting.
What do I get if a book a programme?
We’ll work with you to understand your goals and your audience then create a proposal that fits your budget and delivery model. In addition to live virtual workshops (we can also deliver these in person if you’re in the Cardiff, Vale, and Valleys area) we can also create supporting digital or printed resources, pre-recorded content, or provide kits to help participants take the next steps.
Why book this service?
If you’re looking for an opportunity for your service users or audience to develop greater environmental awareness and confidence then a Green Squirrel programme could be for you.
Engaging and participatory, our affordable programmes inspire meaningful action on climate and biodiversity and build strong connections between members of the group taking part.
Megan’s artwork, created during the Art for Change programme, draws attention to pollution caused by period plastic.
I never would have imagined how much I would enjoy and benefit from the course. The experience has left me with so much more confidence and excitement for the future.

Art for Change participant, 2021
Becca worked tirelessly on the project and delivered a brilliant course which inspired young people to get creative and have the confidence to take a stand. I can’t wait to work with the team again on even more projects in the future.
