Practical skills for resilience

such as bike maintenance, home repairs, mending your clothes, or urban foraging.

bliss bombs
Skills for lower waste living

in the kitchen, bathroom and garden, from making your own cleaning products to reducing energy and water use.

Creative skills

for personal wellbeing and activism, such as working with natural dyes, banner making, running community art projects or leading a local campaign.

What do I get if I book a workshop?

Workshops are delivered as live virtual sessions, usually lasting between 45 minutes and two hours. For many workshops optional kits are available to help participants get started and practice their new skills beyond the workshop. Alternatively, if you’re in the Cardiff, Vale, and Valleys area then we can run a physical workshop at your venue.

Why book this service?

Meticulously researched and delivered with humour and creativity, our workshops shift the story around the climate and nature from blame or hopelessness to curiosity, empowerment, and creativity. We facilitate inclusive sessions, tailored to your audience, where everyone’s voice is heard and different learning styles are supported.

We now offer beautiful kits to support our virtual workshops

Want to offer your participants something extra? For many of our workshops we can provide kits sent by post – to you or directly to attendees – to help them put their new skills into practice. We can work with you put together a kit that suits your topic and budget.

Cardiff Met – Sustainability, love working with Green Squirrel to deliver & participate in green living workshops for staff and students (usually on Campus but more recently on Zoom). It’s a great opportunity to meet like minded people, share ideas, ideas that have and haven’t worked for others, get inspiration for further green living changes whilst in an informal, friendly delivered workshop.
